The class of 1968 produced a memoir of their time at Kings Point for their 50th Anniversary. It is a collection of memories retained from their time as Cadet/Midshipmen. The tales range from serious to humorous, chronicalling the antics, trials and everyday life gathered in the course of becoming Merchant Marine officers. Because it was intended to reflect back on the past 50+ years, it includes many of the varied paths followed upon graduation by the graduates. Although intended as a reminiscence for classmates, it provides insight such that future generations can better understand the 60's era. The effort resulted in a book of over 600 pages and was published on Amazon in 2018.

We've decided to make a free downloadable version of the memoir available to our classmates with color photos. This E-Dition also contains an index that was not available at the time of publishing. The print version is still available, and complements the electronic version when you are basking on the beach and the glare on your tablet screen is unbearable.
